Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Candidates with 2+ years of chemical operations experience may be considered if education requirements are not fully met.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Operators certification and operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and operate technology-based devices for business operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Maneuver and connect/disconnect transfer hoses and monitor loads.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before/after loading/unloading.
• Verify product against receiving/shipping documents; report discrepancies.
• Maintain receiving/shipping logs and batch records in the computer system.
• Operate forklifts and move materials to storage, production, or shipping areas.
• Assist in inventory counts and ensure safety compliance and housekeeping.
