Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemicals, load/unload trucks and railcars, and maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse. The role requires certification-ready forklift operation, strict safety adherence, and quality control collaboration with lab personnel.

Shifts rotate between 1st and 2nd, and the job involves physical tasks, equipment operation, and precise documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and on-spec products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or US military experience.
• Able to pass forklift certification and operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements and documentation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products safely and efficiently.
• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Perform inventory checks, logs, and quality checks in coordination with lab personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and adhere to hazardous materials regulations.
• Repackage and label products, stage deliveries, and transport materials with forklifts.
