Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Engineer II – Forgings to provide technical expertise in materials and process engineering for forged products. You will collaborate across engineering teams and act as a technical point of contact for less experienced engineers.

Based at the Phoenix location on a hybrid schedule, you will engage in all phases of product development and interact with forging and raw material suppliers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 2+ years in materials/process engineering in forging.
• 2+ years experience with aerospace wrought alloys (Al, steel, Ti, Ni).

Responsibilities

• Support materials and processes for forged parts across product life cycle.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve forging issues and improve quality.
• Work with Honeywell engineers to enable design/process improvements.
• Assist with audits and supplier development as needed.
