Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Engineer II – Castings to provide technical expertise in materials and process engineering for cast products. Based in Tempe, AZ with hybrid work, you will collaborate across engineering teams to support design, development, and supplier interactions on aerospace cast components.

You will work with Senior Engineering Manager and contribute to new and existing cast products for propulsion and auxiliary power, while developing as a technical lead for less experienced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
2 or more years of experience in materials/process engineering in the casting industry
2 or more years experience with nickel, aluminum, steel, and/or titanium aerospace cast alloys.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include support for materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of cast parts, as well as regular interaction with suppliers to help resolve issues.
May occasionally need to lift 35 pounds single lift, and travel approximately 10-20%.
