Job summary

Precision Castparts in North Grafton, MA is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead forge operations and ensure production targets are met with high quality and safety standards.

You will interface with all levels of personnel, manage a union workforce, and drive continuous improvements across manufacturing processes while maintaining strict adherence to WG policies and programs. Shifts include day and night rotation.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in forging or related metal processes.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Heavy Manufacturing.
• Union shop experience preferred.
• Ability to work a rotational shift schedule, day and night.

Responsibilities

• Supervise forge operations and drive production to meet metrics.
• Ensure consistent quality standards throughout the work chain.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to impact business and operations goals.
• Direct and coordinate forging plant policies and programs.
• Manage a union workforce and uphold WG quality, safety and production procedures.
• Determine performance and product quality accountability.
