Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace seeks a Forge Operator for Whitesboro, NY. This full-time role supports forge operations, reads blueprints, sets up die assemblies, and maintains heat and quality during the forging cycle.

You will heat, forge and trim parts, monitor dies, and collaborate with a crew as needed. Strong attention to detail and safety are essential; prior forge experience is preferred. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints and tooling layouts to set-up die sets involving multiple components.
• Maintain heat in dies prior to and during operation.
• Use induction heating unit to obtain heated pieces for forging and check heat.
• Usually work individually to heat, forge and trim parts; may lead a crew.
• Monitor furnace heat and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Ensure safety and quality during forging cycles.
