Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in North Grafton, MA, seeks a supervisor to lead forge operations, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will interface with all levels of personnel and drive production through the Forge Crew to meet key metrics.

The role requires broad forging knowledge, a relevant engineering degree, and 4+ years in heavy manufacturing; union experience preferred. On-site, full-time with strong safety and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of forging, mechanical or material science engineering, finance and business administration.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Heavy Manufacturing (Steel making, automotive or forging preferred).
• Union shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory leadership and effective management in forge operations.
• Interface with all levels of personnel at the North Grafton, MA facility.
• Drive production through the Forge Crew to meet operational metrics.
• Conduct manufacturing analysis to reach peak efficiency.
• Perform manufacturing improvement/refinement reviews.
• Identify opportunities to positively impact business goals.
• Direct and coordinate forging plant operations-based policies and programs across functions.
• Manage a union workforce and uphold WG quality, safety, and production procedures.
