Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire role in Euclid, OH. You will set up, operate, and monitor lathe cells and automated robots, perform quality inspections, and document production activities.

This is a heavy industrial forging environment with union scheduling and three shifts: 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Overtime is possible, and safety is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines using part and process sheets for scheduled production runs.
• Operate manual and automated lathe cells, including integrated robotic equipment.
• Change tooling and make adjustments to maintain quality and machine performance.
• Clear robot jams and resolve basic equipment issues following safety procedures.
• Perform quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and print specifications.
• Load/unload conveyors, inspect parts, and identify non-conforming material.
• Complete assembly tasks and operate related equipment such as presses, grinders, and saws.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, track production data, and complete required paperwork.
