Job summary

Aerotek in Euclid, OH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate large-part CNC machines with Fanuc controls, Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Johnford, Okuma, Puma, and Alpha. You will work in a clean, organized job shop to produce and repair tight-tolerance components for power generation applications.

This role requires high-level setup, tool changes, offsets, G and M code edits, and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of high-level CNC setup experience.
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls for machining and edits.
• Experience loading/positioning large parts with an overhead crane.
• Ability to read blueprints, including GD&T.
• Experience performing quality inspections with precision tools.
• CNC programming experience, CAD/CAM or Mastercam preferred.
• Experience on large-part machining in a job shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to tight tolerances.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and speeds/feeds adjustments.
• Edit G/M codes and use Fanuc controls and Mastercam programs.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections with micrometers and gauges.
• Perform changeovers and heavy lifting with overhead cranes.
• Read blueprints and ensure parts meet specifications.
