Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Forge Helper for 1st and 3rd shifts in Cleveland, OH. The role supports furnace operations, loads and cuts steel parts, and inspects parts with precision tools. Training may start on 1st shift; contract-to-hire with a structured benefits package and sign-on bonus.

The position offers a $21.00–$30.00 hourly pay range, weekly pay, overtime at time-and-a-half, and a comprehensive benefits package after initial eligibility. Equipment handling and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience performing precision inspections with micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to maintain quality standards in a heavy manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift and work 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in heating furnaces and operate forging machinery.
• Load steel parts onto conveyors and cut billets to length.
• Spray machinery to cool and ensure safe operation.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision tools.
