Job summary

Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division in Euclid, Ohio is hiring for an Equipment Operator on the 2nd shift. This role sets up and operates milling and drilling equipment to produce aircraft engine parts, performs precision inspections, and maintains strict documentation per quality standards.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of machining or 2 years in manufacturing, and at least 2 years of GD&T experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit is provided.
Minimum 1 year of machining or burr experience OR 2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2-year GD&T experience; Eaton Level 1 Advanced Training may substitute.
Pass an Eaton vision test; become a Certified Operator.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust and operate milling and drilling equipment to burr, polish and finish surfaces on machined parts.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections and document results per ANSI Y14-5 and operator program.
Maintain tooling, change and align jigs/fixtures, and maintain equipment.”
Generate close tolerance edge breaks using hand tools and verify with micrometers and gauges.
Maintain 5S practices and site housekeeping; ensure traceability and documentation per QCP.
