Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator in Columbus, OH to operate metal fabrication machinery including stamping and wire mesh equipment. You will set up machines, run production runs, and perform basic maintenance while ensuring safety and quality.

The role is contract to hire with daytime and overnight shifts. Qualified applicants will have experience operating production machinery, the ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with metal fabrication or machining is beneficial.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal fabrication machines safely and efficiently.
• Run stamping and forming equipment to produce wire mesh and components.
• Set up machines for production runs, adjust settings and install tooling.
• Use hand and power tools; measure with tapes; perform basic maintenance tasks.
