Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily line clearance crews, plan tasks from orders, and ensure safety compliance in field operations. You will train crew members, coordinate with management, and maintain effective customer relations on job sites.

Role requires CDL and strong leadership; you will oversee equipment use, timekeeping, and incident reporting while enforcing safety protocols and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and ability to direct a crew in field operations.
• Strong communication to coordinate with management, crew, and customers.
• Ability to multi-task and organize daily work plans efficiently.
• Commitment to safety training and enforcing safety protocols.
• Experience with field supervision and crew mentoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for crew after orders.
• Conducts field training/retraining and enforces safety practices.
• Interacts with property owners/customers to discuss access and work details.
• Obtains permissions and maintains customer relations.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and uses resources efficiently.
• Reports orders completed, crew time, and incidents to supervisors.
• Cooperates with public agencies when blocking streets or driveways.
• Ensures equipment and vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
