Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a consultant in its Forensics & Valuation practice to deliver business valuation models, analysis, and investigations for diverse client engagements. You will collaborate with teams across the country, develop expertise, and progress professionally with leadership support and development opportunities.

You will contribute to research, interviews, and audits while maintaining rigorous quality and timely client communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and complete accounting coursework with a grade of C or above.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to attend off-site meetings in person.
• Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing business valuation models and reports.
• Researching and analyzing industry, transactional, and economic information.
• Preparing for and participating in management interviews, onsite or via teleconference.
• Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates.
• Assisting with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures.
• Participating in investigations, litigation support, and forensic engagements.
• Analyzing financial and legal documents and reconstructing statements as needed.
• Interpreting data to reach conclusions and deliver client-focused insights.
