Job summary

Forvis Mazars LLP is seeking consultants for its Forensics and Valuation practice. You will develop valuation models, analyze industry data, and support management interviews both on-site and via teleconference.

Qualifications

How You Will Contribute

• Preparing business valuation models and reports


• Researching and analyzing industry, transactional, and economic information


• Preparing for and participating in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference


• Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates


• Assisting with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures


• Participating in investigations, litigation support, and forensic consulting engagements


• Performing detailed analysis of financial and legal documents, analysis of potentially fraudulent transactions, and reconstruction of financial statements


• Applying technical research skills needed to gather, organize, summarize, and interpret data to arrive at a conclusion


• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients

Minimum Qualifications

• Consultant positions in Forensics and Valuation Services require a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university


• Maintenance of a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0


• All accounting (or job-relevant) coursework must be completed with a grade of C or above


• Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person


• Some travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications

• Desire or the ability to sit for the CPA exam


• Desire to obtain the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
