Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown PC is seeking a Senior Manager for the Forensic and Valuation Services Group in a hybrid role across listed offices, including New York, NY. The role leads investigations, financial analyses, and expert testimony for matters such as economic damages and ownership disputes.

The Senior Manager will oversee associates, interact with Principals and Partners, and may grow into an expert witness role. CPA required with 10–12 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting is required.
• CPA License is required.
• Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Market facing and business development skills are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients and counsel to obtain documents.
• Developing a forensic plan for the engagement and managing a team of associates to implement the plan.
• Summarizing and interpreting relevant financial information and records.
• Developing forensic accounting and dispute/economic damage analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and other deliverables.
• Critiquing opposing expert reports in preparation of rebuttal reports.
• Assisting with deposition and trial preparation.
