Job summary

Withum is seeking a Forensic Manager to join the Forensic and Valuation Services Group. The incumbent will manage investigations, develop forensic plans, interpret financial data, and grow into an expert witness role.

This hybrid role may be based in several offices, including Providence, RI, with a three-day in-office expectation. The ideal candidate holds a BA/MA in accounting, CPA, and 7+ years in forensic accounting, plus strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
• CPA License is required.
• CFE, CFF, and/or ABV credentials preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in forensic accounting with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients and counsel to obtain documents.
• Developing a forensic plan for engagements and leading a team to implement it.
• Summarizing and interpreting relevant financial information and records.
• Developing forensic accounting and dispute/economic damage analyses.
• Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and other deliverables.
• Reviewing opposing expert reports for rebuttal preparation.
• Assisting with deposition and trial preparation.
