Job summary

Withum seeks a Senior Manager for the Forensic and Valuation Services Group, based in a hybrid arrangement across multiple offices including Boston, MA. The role involves overseeing investigations, financial analyses, and expert testimony, with opportunities to grow into an expert witness in own right.

The position requires extensive experience in economic damages and business disputes, CPA licensure, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting is required
• CPA License required
• ASA, ABV or CVA credential preferred
• CFE or CFF credential a plus
• Minimum of 10–12 years' experience in economic damages and/or business disputes
• 5+ years of managing an economic damages/business disputes team
• Experience/testifying is a plus

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients and counsel to obtain documents
• Developing a forensic plan for the engagement and managing a team of associates
• Summarizing and interpreting relevant financial information and records
• Developing forensic accounting and dispute/economic damage analysis
• Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and other deliverables
• Critiquing opposing expert reports in preparation of rebuttal reports
• Assisting with deposition and trial preparation
