Withum Smith+Brown seeks a Senior Manager for its Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Group. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) and can be based in Providence, RI, among other U.S. locations.

The candidate will oversee investigations, economic damages, and disputes, guiding associates and working with Principals and Partners. The ideal candidate has 10–12 years in economic damages or disputes, CPA and relevant credentials, and strong communication, leadership, and business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA License required.
• ASA, ABV or CVA credential preferred.
• CFE or CFF credential a plus.
• Minimum of 10–12 years’ experience in economic damages and/or business disputes with at least 5 years of managing an economic damages, business disputes team.
• Testifying experience a plus.
• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Highly motivated with outstanding analytical skills.
• Market facing, business development skills.

Responsabilités

• Communicating with clients and counsel to obtain documents.
• Developing a forensic plan for the respective engagement and managing a team of associates to implement the plan.
• Summarizing and interpreting relevant financial information and records.
• Developing forensic accounting and dispute/economic damage analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and other deliverables.
• Critiquing opposing expert reports in preparation of rebuttal expert reports.
• Assisting with deposition and trial preparation.
