Job summary

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking a Forensic Psychologist for the Community Forensic Services program. The role involves outpatient evaluations across Georgia, reporting, and potential testimony under supervision.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Current Georgia license to practice psychology.
• One year of experience at Psychologist 1 level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform face‑to‑face forensic mental health evaluations to assess competency, criminal responsibility, and violence risk.
• Prepare reports and provide expert testimony.
• Travel within Georgia to support outpatient and inpatient forensic evaluations; supervise and train others as assigned.
