Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license to practice psychology.
• One year of experience at Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent.
• Completion of Competency to Stand Trial Certification within one year of hire.
• Willingness to travel within Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Perform face-to-face forensic evaluations to assess competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and violence risk.
• Prepare reports and provide expert testimony as required.
• Conduct data collection and analysis and supervise trainees as assigned.
• Occasionally handle juvenile forensic evaluations (as needed).
