Job summary

Community Health Network seeks a Forensic Nurse Examiner (RN) at the Center of Hope in Anderson, Indiana. The RN will perform forensic examinations, preserve evidence, and coordinate care for violence victims within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an ACEN/CCNE/NLN/NLN CNEA-accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN) or 3 years of nursing experience, Indiana RN licensure, and completion of a SANE-A course or within 2 years of hire. 2+ years acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACEN/CCNE/NLN/NLN CNEA-accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN) or 3 years related nursing experience.
• SANE-A course completion required or within 2 years of hire.
• Indiana RN licensure required by IPLA.

Responsibilities

• Provide forensic examinations and nursing services for victims of violence.
• Collect and preserve forensic specimens with chain of custody.
• Coordinate referrals and services across CHN and external partners.
• Demonstrate collaboration, delegation, and resource management in patient care.
