Qualifications

• CFNC SANE-A certification required for 0.5 FTE+; preferred for PRN staff within 3 years.
• CFNC SANE-P certification required for 0.5 FTE+; preferred for PRN staff within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide forensic nursing care to patients as per nursing standards and policies.
• Collect health data related to sexual or physical violence and report to appropriate sources.
• Maintain documentation and prepare care reports for assaulted/abused patients.
• Provide courtroom testimony when subpoenaed.
