The ideal candidate is an IN-licensed RN with 2 years of nursing experience, CPR, and SANE training within 1 year of hire; pediatric SANE training is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of nursing experience required.
• One year emergency nursing preferred.
• One year of forensic nursing preferred.
• IN Licensed Registered Nurse is Required
• CPR is Required
• Adult/Adolescent SANE Training within 1 year of hire is Required
• Pediatric SANE Training within 1 year of hire is Required
• Intimate Partner Violence Training within 1 year of hire is Required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and community partners.
• Perform complete physical and forensic exam with documentation.
• Administer medications per protocols and manage safety planning.
• Maintain chain of custody for evidence and provide testimony as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain a patient-ready exam environment
