Job summary

United States Drug Testing Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Specimen Processing Technician for our Des Plaines, IL facility. The role involves following SOPs, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining a clean, organized lab area while processing specimens for downstream testing.

Qualifications

• Two or more years relevant lab experience or an Associate/Master degree in Science.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and HIPAA-related practices; maintain a clean, organized lab area.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems, document events, and notify supervisors.
• Complete competency in all job functions under supervision of Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Prepare specimens and perform sample processing with proper labeling and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Assist with tasks to support module team goals and competency maintenance.
