Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support specimen procurement, processing, and drug screen lab testing. The role involves accurate labeling, accessioning into EMR, and ensuring specimen integrity while complying with CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and a medical lab technician certification, with proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Must possess and maintain a medical lab technician certification.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Labels specimens accurately and distributes them to the appropriate personnel.
• Accession specimens accurately into the EMR system.
• Processes specimens and prepares them for shipping and testing.
• Tracks all specimen samples in EMR for inventory purposes.
