Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a Forensic Human Factors professional to lead and manage a range of consulting projects related to human interaction with products, environments, and processes.

The role involves field investigations, data collection, literature review, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Strong writing, analysis, and client relations are essential, along with potential courtroom testimony.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cognitive, Experimental, or Industrial Psychology; Neuroscience; Industrial & Systems Engineering; or Human Factors.
• Ph.D. in Cognitive, Experimental, or Industrial Psychology; Neuroscience; Industrial & Systems Engineering; or Human Factors is preferred.
• BCPE certification and/or PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a legal and/or proactive consulting practice.
• Complete site and product inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
• Prepare expert reports, deposition summaries, and affidavits.
• Research statutes, regulations, legal articles, and other sources; provide written analysis to consultants.
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files (evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings).
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Develop and maintain records of billable hours spent on cases.
