Job summary

Rimkus seeks a Forensic Human Factors professional to manage diverse consulting projects, conduct field investigations and testing, and review scientific literature for technical data. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, gather data, and prepare expert reports and affidavits for litigation.

The role requires a master’s degree in related fields, with preference for Ph.D. and professional certifications. Travel and field work are expected as part of ongoing project support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field required.
• Ph.D. preferred for advanced consulting roles.
• Board Certification and/or PE license preferred.
• Strong legal language understanding and case research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a legal/proactive consulting practice.
• Complete site and product inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients and professionals on cases.
• Prepare expert reports, deposition summaries, and affidavits.
• Research statutes, regulations and standards for analyses.
• Organize and retrieve case files and exhibits.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony when required.
• Track billable hours for cases.
