Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a forensic human factors consultant to lead multi‑disciplinary projects, conduct field investigations and testing, analyze data, and prepare expert reports. Expect client meetings, depositions, and a role in developing the practice.

The candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Cognitive, Experimental, or Industrial Psychology; Neuroscience; Industrial & Systems Engineering; or Human Factors, with 5+ years in litigation consulting and the ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a cognitive, experimental, industrial psychology, neuroscience, industrial & systems engineering, or human factors field.
• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in human factors litigation consulting, including inspections, report writing and testifying.
• Eligible to work in the United States; BCPE certification and/or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a legal consulting practice within the forensics/human factors area.
• Complete site inspections and client meetings to discuss cases.
• Prepare expert reports and affidavits and organize case files.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony when required.
• Develop and maintain records of billable hours spent on cases.
