Rimkus is seeking a forensic civil/structural engineer to perform investigative analyses of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. You will determine causes of failures, prepare detailed reports, and may testify in legal matters.

Travel up to 50% and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team are essential. The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience; licensing may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil or Structural Engineering degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in forensic engineering or related field preferred.
• Project management and/or field investigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations to determine causes/origins of structural failures and building envelope issues.
• Prepare oral and written reports with findings and remediation recommendations; provide testimony if needed.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with clients and other experts.
