Job summary

BRG’s Economics, Disputes & Investigations practice seeks a highly skilled analyst with 1–3 years in financial auditing or economic consulting to perform rigorous financial analysis, build models, and contribute to complex loss calculations for litigation and insurance claims.

You will review data, develop models, and assist in expert witness preparation while collaborating with senior consultants. A CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, or insurance within accounting/consulting.
• CPA or pursuing CPA preferred; Big Four experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (Copilot, Claude) to enhance research, data analysis, and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial data such as P&L statements and accounting ledgers.
• Design and develop financial and damages models and/or databases using Excel.
• Perform data analytics on large datasets.
• Prepare and audit work product for accuracy and quality.
• Conduct industry and market research and summarize results into action plans.
• Demonstrate use of software tools and models to quantify damages and prepare demonstratives.
