Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in the United States. You will lead crews, read blueprints, enforce safety policies (OSHA/DOT), and coordinate with the supervisor on daily activities.

You will manage project timelines, train crew members, and communicate with property owners about work to be performed. The role requires at least 3 years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of related work experience as a foreman or lead hand.
• Knowledge of safety protocols OSHA/DOT and ability to read blueprints.
• Authorization to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines and safety standards.
• Assist in training crew members and communicate with property owners as needed.
• Read and understand blueprints and project specs.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulations.
• Support the supervisor with day-to-day activities and equipment operations.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions and operate heavy machinery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
