Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team. You will lead crews, read blueprints, and ensure adherence to safety policies and project timelines.

This role requires coordinating with the supervisor and communicating with property owners as needed. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience, with at least three years in related work; foreman experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone follows safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
