Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team. You will lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecom systems, ensuring safety and adherence to project timelines.

You will train crew members, read blueprints, and coordinate with property owners while following OSHA/DOT safety policies. Experience as a foreman is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; relevant work experience acceptable.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Assist with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Discuss work with property owners and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines

• Help with training of crew members

• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse
