Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in Fort Walton Beach. You will lead crews, supervise training, read blueprints, and ensure work aligns with safety policies and project timelines.

The role emphasizes safety and hands-on management, with opportunities to coordinate with property owners and manage daily activities in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Three or more years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• High school diploma or equivalent; further certification a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and understand project scope

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines and safety standards
• Assist with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints for installation and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities
• Communicate with property owners and address work-related issues
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery in all weather
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
