Job summary

Lambert’s Cable Splicing Company, LLC in Clearwater, FL seeks a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities include training crew members, interpreting blueprints, coordinating with property owners, and enforcing OSHA/DOT rules. Must have 3+ years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse
