Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews in installing and maintaining underground networks. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines while coordinating with the supervisor and property owners.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read blueprints. This on-site role involves training crew members and working in diverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of related work experience.
• Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with property owners to coordinate work.
• Operate heavy equipment as required.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
