Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking an Equipment Foreman for our Telecom Construction team. You will lead crews, coordinate field operations, and ensure projects stay on schedule while managing equipment and material needs.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, training crew members, maintaining safety standards (OSHA/DOT), and keeping production notes and DOT paperwork up to date. Requires 3+ years of foreman experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of foreman experience in telecom/construction.
• Minimum age 18 and legal right to work in the US.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Strong safety adherence and documentation experience (OSHA/DOT).

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates.
• Oversee and train crew members on processes and safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT safety policies.
• Maintain DOT paperwork and production notes.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
