Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems on-site. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding less experienced team members.

Responsibilities include coordinating cable installations, operating bucket trucks and other heavy equipment, and traveling on short notice for storm response. Must have a valid US work authorization and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver''s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Pass DOT physical exam resulting in a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, and support structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Safely operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators.
• Maintain safe work areas and manage traffic flow on site.
• Climb safely using hooks and ladders.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws) safely.
• Provide guidance and support to crew members as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
