Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team. You will lead crews in underground installation and maintenance of telecommunication systems, ensuring timelines and safety standards are met.

You'll coordinate with the supervisor and communicate with property owners about the work to be performed. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
