Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. seeks an Equipment Foreman to join our Telecom Construction team in Virginia. You will oversee crews, ensure projects stay on schedule, and manage equipment and materials for a safe, productive work site.

You’ll collaborate with the supervisor, train crew members, maintain DOT paperwork, and uphold OSHA and company safety policies in all weather conditions. This role requires hands-on leadership and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
