Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Foreman to help drive successful project execution through hands-on equipment setup, safety compliance, and coordination with project leadership. This role emphasizes practical oversight and teamwork to keep projects on track.

The position covers mobilization and decommissioning of pumping, power distribution, HVAC, and energy systems, plus active involvement in emergency response to protect assets and clients. Training and growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus.
• Experience with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, A/C and water restoration equipment.
• Strong ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills with troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various systems.
• Support pumping, power generation, distribution and HVAC systems.
• Participate in emergency response and disaster restoration efforts.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Coordinate with Project Leads on timelines and resource allocation.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently to meet project delivery and client satisfaction.
