Sunbelt Rentals Houston is hiring an Assistant Foreman to support hands-on project execution, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with project leadership. The role covers mobilization/teardown of pumping, power, HVAC, and energy systems, plus disaster response involvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications in mechanics/engineering are a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• System mobilization and decommissioning: assist and lead setup/tear down of equipment for pumping, power, HVAC, and energy/utility systems.
• Emergency and disaster response participation for rapid deployment and resource management.
• Promote safe work environment and enforce company safety policies; identify hazards and implement controls.
• Coordinate with Project Leads to monitor timelines and resource allocation; ensure timely, efficient delivery and client satisfaction.
