Job summary

FH Construction Group in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Foreman to drive projects on commercial sites, lead field teams, and ensure quality craftsmanship with a strong safety focus. The role requires coordinating subcontractors, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.

You will mentor crew members, inspect workmanship, and support field operations to deliver projects that meet client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Carpenter Foreman or General Foreman on commercial sites.
• Ability to safely and proficiently use hand and power tools.

Our Foreman keep our projects moving forward - from leading trade partners, to supporting Superintendents, they ensure every detail in the field is executed the right way. They’re the hands-on problem solvers who set the pace, maintain quality, and keep our sites running safely and efficiently. As operational anchors on the jobsite, they turn plans into progress and ensure the day-to-day work gets done with precision.

We’re looking for a Foreman to join our team. Our Foreman plays a key role in our organization, having exceptional leadership skills, time management, high attention to detail, and performs work safely and efficiently. Foreman oversee and assist, as needed, with both rough and finish carpentry on our jobsites ensuring craftsmanship of the highest quality to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.

What You'll Do:

Champion and comply with all company safety requirements to ensure zero injuries.

Oversee and assist in all aspects of construction during the life cycle of the project.

Oversee and coordinate the activities of the construction crew and subcontractors. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members as needed.

Accurately read blueprints and project drawings to understand project requirements.

Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper execution.

Coordinate with the project team, design team, and/or owner to address challenges and changes, as needed.

Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, demolition, doors, frames, and hardware, and other tasks as needed.

Manage and maintain ICRA containments when working on active healthcare projects.

Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure conformance with project specifications.

In partnership with Field Operations, determine sequence of activities for the project site.

Identify areas for additional self-perform work on project sites in partnership with Field Operations and Field Operations Leaders.

who you are:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Previous experience as a Carpenter Foreman or General Foreman on commercial construction jobsites.

Knowledge of how to safely and proficiently use hand and power tools to perform carpentry tasks.
