Job summary

Padgett Law Group in Tallahassee is seeking a detail-oriented legal assistant/paralegal to support foreclosures and creditor-rights matters. You will draft, file, and manage documents, handle high volume email correspondence, and assist attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Experience with LPS, Tempo, and Vendorscape is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, preparing, assignments, motions, affidavits, and various other legal documents.
• Responding to a heavy volume of email with courtesy and thoroughness.
• Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates and clients.
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
• Providing support to attorneys in a high volume, time-sensitive atmosphere.
• Preparation and filing of status updates prior to scheduled hearings.
• Providing regular client status updates and follow-up on outstanding documents.
• Review Notices of Default and communicate updated figures with clients.
• Monitor for executed client declarations.
• File client declarations with the court.
