Job summary

Padgett Law Group in Indiana is seeking a Legal Assistant- Foreclosure to manage foreclosure files, prepare documents, and ensure compliance with client, investor, state, and federal requirements.

You will coordinate with clients and internal teams, track deadlines, and help maintain accurate case records while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Education required: High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in foreclosure, mortgage servicing, or related legal field.
• Knowledge of foreclosure processes and state-specific requirements.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Process and manage foreclosure cases in compliance with guidelines.
• Document Preparation: Prepare, review, and file foreclosure documents accurately.
• Data Entry and Tracking: Maintain data in case management systems and meet deadlines.
• Client Communication: Provide updates and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate to ensure efficient workflow and goals.
• Compliance and Quality Control: Follow procedures and identify issues.
• Reporting: Generate status and timeline reports as requested.
• Process Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities and propose changes.
• Training Support: Assist with training new team members.
