Job summary

Padgett Law Group in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking a Legal Assistant- Foreclosure to manage foreclosure files, prepare documents, monitor deadlines, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely progression and compliance.

You will support with data entry, file maintenance, reporting, and training of new staff, contributing to service quality and the firm's commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, fully in-house environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in foreclosure, mortgage servicing, or related legal field.
• Familiarity with foreclosure processes, legal terminology, and state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process foreclosure cases accurately and in compliance with client-specific, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare, review, and file foreclosure-related documents.
• Input and maintain data in case management systems and ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients professionally to provide updates and address inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet goals.
• Identify potential issues and escalate as necessary to ensure quality and compliance.
