Job summary

Padgett Law Group seeks an Attorney - Foreclosure (Alabama) to join our elite creditors' rights practice. The role emphasizes drafting and reviewing documents, organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with paralegals and staff for appearances.

You will shadow senior attorneys for mediation, court, and sheriff’s sales; prepare for appearances; collaborate with the Alabama state team; and participate in weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• J.D., licensed in Alabama and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
• Preference will be given to candidates licensed for at least 5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents for second level review of the Supervising Attorney.
• Organize case files, track deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediations, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
• Collaborate with members of the state team.
• Engage in weekly state meetings.
