The role focuses on guiding files from sale scheduling through post-sale completion and requires strong organization and teamwork. You will prepare foreclosure documents, coordinate with courts and vendors, and manage deadlines while delivering professional client service and precise support for our attorneys.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of Legal Assistant experience in foreclosure, real estate, or default servicing.
• Paralegal Certificate, Associate Degree, or related legal education.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Clear, friendly written and verbal communication.
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat in a busy environment.
• A problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently while being a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and sale confirmations.
• Coordinate smoothly with courts, sheriffs, auctioneers, vendors, and other outside parties.
• Keep sale timelines on track and ensure deadlines are met.
• Run bankruptcy checks, military status lookups, and basic legal research.
• Back up attorneys and answer client questions with professionalism.
• Review property info, legal descriptions, tax records, and lien details for accuracy.
• Keep Case Management System and client portals up to date.
• Handle post-sale tasks like preparing deeds, processing surplus funds, and filing confirmations.
• Contribute to electronic filings, mailings, and day-to-day admin tasks.
