Job summary

Padgett Law Group seeks an Attorney - Foreclosure to join its creditors' rights practice in Alabama. The role focuses on drafting and reviewing foreclosure-related documents, organizing case files, and coordinating with paralegals for efficient case management.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. and Alabama license in good standing, with 5+ years of experience preferred, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• J.D., licensed in Alabama and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
• Preference will be given to those licensed for at least 5 years.
• Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents for second level review of the Supervising Attorney.
• Organize case files, track legal deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
• Collaborate with members of the state team.
• Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
• Engage with Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting.
